The computer sciene program is housed within its own department at UW. A dynamic environment is offered for students to study, research, and grow in. It is one of teh oldest computer science programs in the nation. It is recognized as having the world's leading research groups in several fields. Research opportunities are offered for both graduates and undergrads. There are campus competitions for studetns to pitch their start-up ideas and test their skills.

Computer science majors at Wisconsin Lutheran gain experience in several different programming languages while simultaneously studying in their resepctive specialties.
